Sign installation using rope access to University College Birmingham building.
University College Birmingham is a growing university based in Birmingham, England. The university has numerous campuses spread across the city. As a result of the campuses locations, access is difficult, particularly to high level locations. The facility manager for the university required several high level sign installs undertaking and got in contact with us to discuss their individual requirements.
Like all our other abseil services, we first met our contact at University College Birmingham on site to discuss the exact sign installation requirements and also ascertain the best installation and fixing methods. After initial site visit, we then produced and issues a quotation for our client to review. Upon acceptance of quotation, installation date was booked in. We then produced and issued job specific risk assessment and method statement for client approval prior to works commencing.
After client approval, our IRATA trained abseil technicians attend site and undertook the sign installs, causing the least disruption to building inhabitants.
